International Yoga Day was celebrated in a grand manner on World Yoga day. Sri Sivananda Balalaya witnessed the participation of around 150 enthusiastic students from class 4 to class10.
Yoga is a state of a healthy mind in a healthy body and this message was conveyed by Yoga master Mr VijayKumar. He displayed around 12 ..ASANAS....That keeps our body healthy and MEDITATION that helps us to be mentally fit. He, along with the principal Mrs. Sathya, spoke about the harmful effects of junk food and the need to consume nutritious food to lead an active and healthy life.
In all, an enlightening session on YOGA....an exercise thats keeps us mentally, socially and physically fit!
